The ACTION training program
was tailored to bridge the knowledge gained from the
academe with the actual needs of the IT industry.
Its focus is to develop fresh (or with less than 2
years of IT experience) graduates into Advanced World
Systems engineers who have balanced capability in
terms of technical and business skills plus Nihongo
proficiency.
ACTION Objectives:
To produce engineers who are capable of developing enterprise business solutions and embedded systems focusing on Open Source environment using emerging technologies, e.g. UML, Java, TOMCAT, Embedded Linux, RTOS and PostgreSQL
To produce responsible professional engineers who understand Japanese business practices and can conduct software development projects with Japanese clients in Japanese language
Training Categories:
To develop well rounded and globally competitive I.T. engineers, the training program focuses on 4 key aspects; Fundamental I.T. skills, Technical skills, Professional business attitude, and Japanese language skills.
General IT Concepts
Brush up on the general knowledge that all IT Engineers should master.
Technology
Learn the latest and emerging technologies like UML, Java, TOMCAT, Embedded Linux, RTOS and PostgreSQL, and afterwards apply what they learned by being involved in actual development of a S/W project.
Business Basics
Aside from technical skills, get to learn the basic business skills on how to deal with clients and co-employees.
Japanese Language
Pass Level 3 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).
