First established in 1993 in the Philippines as an Offshore Research and Development arm of a Japanese company that was a joint venture of IBM Japan and Toshiba TEC, it became an independent company, establishing its head office in Japan.  AWS has since expanded its service offerings and now the AWS Group of companies deliver globally excellent IT services to global clients.
