AWS Wins 3 Grand Prize Awards at the e-Services Philippines 2007
February 26, 2007

For the 5th straight year, Advanced World Systems, Inc. (AWS) emerged as a winner during the "e-Services Philippines 2007 (ESP) Awards" contest held on February 15-16, 2007, at the EDSA Shangri-la Hotel, Manila. This year is a really big win for the Company as it bagged no less than three Grand Prize Awards.

The Company won the Most Creative Application of the Year for its "High Definition Clip Station," the Offshore Project of the Year for the "Manufacturing System Development Project for SCM, Inc.", and finally, the "AWS Center for Technology Incubation (ACTION)" took home the Outstanding Company Program.

"The other companies' entries were also good products and technologies," says Mr. Ramil Villanueva, AWS Group's Assistant Vice-President for Corporate Planning, "Winning 3 of the 6 Grand Prizes at the ESP Awards was really unimaginable." He mentioned that the awards came at a very good time as the Company has just changed its name late last year. "After I went back 3 times to the stage to receive the awards, I think our new Company name has made itself known. I really hope that this win is a sign that big and great things are waiting for us this year."

In 2003, AWS' Multi-Monitor Control Panel (MMCP) was awarded as Grand Prize Winner under the e-Business Solutions Category, while in 2004, AWS' Infectious Disease Data Management System (IDDMS) was awarded as 1st Runner-up in the Health Solutions Category. AWS' website was judged as Best Website in 2005, and last year, AWS' Certificate and Graduate Record Management System (CGRM) was given a Special Citation Award in the Public Service Category.
