Advanced World Systems, Inc. Joins 2nd Philippine Delegation for Software Development Expo & Conference (SODEC) in Japan
June 1, 2004

True to its commitment of contributing to the promotion and upliftment of the country's IT sector, Advanced World Systems, Inc. will again join the Philippines' delegation in this year's Software Development Expo & Conference (SODEC) to be held on July 7-9, 2004 at the Tokyo Big Sight in Japan.

This will be the second time that the Philippines will participate in this event. The country's participation is being organized by the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry under its export promotions arm, the Center for International Trade Exhibitions and Missions (CITEM), and is being supported by Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and Asean Japan Centre (AJC). AW Systems will be joining 9 other companies from the Philippines as the country delegation for this year.

Last year, Advanced World Systems, Inc. also participated in this event together with 8 other Philippine-based companies. During last year's event, AW Systems' Vice-President, Mr. Tadashi Ishikawa, was a keynote speaker during the seminar conducted by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). The seminar served as a briefing to Japanese companies interested in doing IT outsourcing business with the Philippines.

SODEC is the largest IT exhibition in Japan focusing on latest tools, technologies and services related to software development. It is recognized as one of the most important trade exhibitions among software development engineers and designers from all areas of the industry. In 2003, SODEC was represented by 146 companies from around the world and attended by more than 13,000 visitors.

We invite interested companies to visit AW Systems at the Philippine Booth (Booth 22-23) located at the Project Management Zone during the SODEC event.
