Advanced World Systems, Inc. Wins Again at e-Services Philippines "Best Product and Service Award" Contest

For the 2nd straight year of its participation, Advanced World Systems, Inc. won in the e-Services Philippines Best Product and Service Award Contest held last February 12-13, 2004 at the EDSA Shangri-la Hotel, Manila. Advanced World Systems, Inc.'s entry, Infectious Disease Data Management System (IDDMS), was awarded as 1st Runner-up in the Health Solutions Category.

Last Year, Advanced World Systems, Inc.'s entry, Multi-Monitor Control Panel (MMCP), was awarded as Grand Prize Winner under the e-Business Solutions Category. The Chairman of the Board of Judges, Dr. William Torres, described it as "a best example of an outsourcing project and the cooperation between Philippines and Japan." The specifications and project requirements were defined by the customer in Japan, while design, programming and testing were done by talented Filipino engineers in the Philippines.

Organized by the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry under its export promotions arm, the Center for International Trade Exhibitions and Missions (CITEM), e-services Philippines is a yearly event that features the Philippines' best and brightest global IT services providers in five key areas: animation, business process outsourcing, contact centers, software development, medical transcription, and engineering design. The e-Services Philippines Best Product and Service Award contest is part of the event to select the best product and service offered by the exhibitors.
