June 1, 2003

Advanced World Systems, Inc. celebrated its 10th Year Anniversary on a big way! Management decided to treat the employees to very big outing celebration as a way of appreciation for all their hard work and contributions during the 10 years of the company's successful operations in the country.

Employees who are in the Philippines (including employees of its subsidiary company, AAISI) headed to El Nido Resort in Palawan, while those who are currently assigned in Japan trooped to Zanpamisaki Royal Hotel in Okinawa. Employees in the Philippines stayed at the El Nido Resort on June 13 to 15, while those in Japan stayed at the Zanpamisaki Royal Hotel on June 14 to 16.

It was really fun and time for relaxation for all employees fully enjoying this kind of once-in-a-lifetime experience to many. Most, if not all, participated in the activities prepared by the committees such as kayaking, bottom fishing, beach volleyball, snorkeling, island hoping, and many more. In the Philippines, the event culminated with a symbolic dinner party in one of El Nido's small islands. It was opened with the dramatic lighting of over 20 torches, each pair symbolizing the path that the company will undertake in the next 10 years towards the fulfillment of its goal symbolized by the giant bonfire flared by head of the company, Mr. Konishi, and the youngest of the company as a symbolism of the company's recognition of the importance of the young generation for the future of the company.

With the theme Advanced World Systems Reloaded, employees looked back on the company's past achievements and accomplishments, while management announced the future plans for the company in the next 5 to 10 years.
