AWS is Best Company of the Year for IT & Software Development

22 March 2017 - Advanced World Solutions was named "Best Company of the Year for Information Technology & Software Development" at the 11th annual International ICT Awards Philippines held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, Newport City in Pasay.

The "Best Company of the Year for Information Technology & Software Development" award recognizes "a company that demonstrates cutting-edge software design and development and deemed to have been the most inspirational role model company" for the given year.

It looks at the company's growth in terms of annual revenue, quality and diversity of services offered to clients, depth and breadth of competencies, management practices, and efforts to promote the Philippine ICT industry, among other criteria.

This is the 2nd time that the company has won this award, the first one being in the 10th annual International ICT Awards Philippines held on March 2016. In addition to the award however, the company is also a finalist this year in the "Most Innovative Company of the Year", an award category recognizing the company that adopts practices that lead to innovation.

AWS helps promote the Philippine ICT industry abroad by regularly participating at the annual Software Development Expo (SODEC) in Japan, HIMSS Conference in the US, and CommunicAsia in Singapore, to name a few.

The ICT Awards is organized by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (CanCham), in association with the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP).

The Awards has 15 other categories including "Best Employer" and "Best ICT CEO". This year marked the Awards' 11th anniversary.
