Aging Population is becoming a common issue to both US and Japan, and this is one of the reasons why, most governments are focusing on Population Health Management. IT plays a very important role in this aspect, and it is for this reason that this year's HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) Conference in Orlando Florida focused on the role of IT in offering better healthcare, with no less than IBM Chairman, CEO and President, Ginni Rometty as the keynote speaker.

Advanced World Solutions, Inc. was part of the 17-company Philippine Delegation led by the Department of Trade and Industry/Board of Investments (Philippines) as an exhibitor in the 5-day conference (2/19 - 2/23). Medical IT Solutions, both hardware and software dominated the exhibit floors, and Advanced World Solutions, Inc. itself got a first-hand experience of answering inquiries related to Data Analytics. Vincent Remo, Director and AVP for Business Development made presentation in the Philippine booth, and attracted a lot of visitors to the said event. He was joined by Ms. Maria Kristina Rañada, a Senior R&D Engineer specializing on Data Analytics. This year's HIMSS was attended by around 45,000 Healthcare and IT Industry professionals. It featured 300 sessions and 1,200 exhibitors.
