The Department of Trade and Industry of the Philippines sponsored a Roadshow to the United States from Feb 26 - March 9, 2018 to promote the Healthcare/IT Industry of the Philippines. The event was participated by 12 companies, most of which are members of HIMAP (Healthcare Information Management Association of the Philippines). The delegation was led by no less than the DTI Undersecretary Nora K. Terrado. Aside from attending the HIMSS Conference in Las Vegas Nevada (3/5 - 3/9), the Roadshow returned to 2 major key cities visited last year- New York and Houston. The group conducted seminars and business fora to share the good news about the Philippines.

In the business forum, Vincent Remo, Director, AVP for Business Development at Advanced World Solutions, Inc. presented about the success stories in serving clients, as a partner for Digital Transformation in Healthcare. He also stressed that things have just started in Healthcare and that more and more innovation is expected along the lines of Automation, Analytics and AI. Aside from the presentation, he was also part of the panel for the Q&A Session with the audience. In the forum, Vincent Remo also represented HIMAP, as he was recently elected as a Board of Trustee for the said organization.
